Una muy buena opción para degustar de comida vegetariana, postres, chocolate, bebidas detox, jugos. El costo de los almuerzos es de 4 usd. El plato recomendado es la Lasaña de la Chakra, un plato con productos locales acompañado con una bebida a base de canela. El lugar cuenta con servicio de Internet por lo que es un muy buen lugar para tomarse un café y hacer oficina de ser necesario.

Not being a vegetarian, I was a bit hesitant at first and assumed I wasn’t going to like the food but gave it a try nonetheless and was actually pleased. Food is fresh ,flavorful, locally sourced and they’re always looking to create new plates. Personally I have a sweet tooth so I’m always looking forward to the days dessert. My favorite would be the arroz con leche (rice with milk) and the chocolate salami. If you’re going in for lunch, sometimes they’ll run out of the days menu early , so don’t go too late. They do have a menu with drinks, burritos, veggie burgers as well. Its a nice feeling leaving here knowing I ate something good for my body. I value the quiet ambiance where you can catch up on some work, study or read a book. If you want to wind down a bit, here’s your spot. Tuna Bistrot is a family run business and the folks here are chill and friendly. Since the kitchen/ prep area is within earshot, sometimes you’ll hear the staff during their lighthearted conversations amongst themselves as well as their stressful moments when they get a rush of clients. That’s a kitchen for you though. One final observation is that the drinks served as part of your almuerzo (lunch) , aren’t refilled unless you specifically ask them for more. I’ve noticed that when you go in for lunch in many restaurants in Ecuador, staff will usually come around people’s tables and refill their glasses, not here. Overall good place , good food. If you want something new, give it a try. 🌿
