Better known as the white city, it has beautiful landscapes, one of the places that I like to visit the most is the Yahuarcoha lagoon where you can see a diversity of fauna and flora and the food, they offer is delicious, it also has accommodation places. San Antonio de Ibarra is the artisan capital where you can find beautiful and diverse crafts.
The climate is temperate dry with an annual average temperature of 18º C. Winter: November-February and Summer: March-October. Ibarra is located in a valley and is modified both by the winds that come from the valleys and pastures that are hot and dry winds, and by the winds that come from the Andes and the high parts that are fresh and cold winds. The Return Party, the Refoundation of Ibarra, exhibitions, music, dance and theater festivals, a contest as well as the civic-military parade and the Solemn Commemorative Session are celebrated.
