The Spanish course is effective and so much fun at the same time. All teachers are highly skilled and experienced. Besides Spanish lessons, the school organizes a vast number of activities. Before you even know, you get to know everybody. Even though the weather was bad, we decided to stay much longer than planned.

I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was such a great time. Spanish teachers are very professional and besides that very friendly. Besides Spanish classes I took surf classes and it is a great combination of studying and having fun in the water. Many activities are organized apart from the Spanish and surf classes, this makes you really feel like you are part of one big family. I stayed at the accommodation of the school 'Montañita Cabañas'. This is where almost all the students stay and it is a little paradise!

(Original) What an amazing place to learn Spanish! Stayed there for two weeks and learned so much. The teachers are great and the lessons are a lot of fun. I also stayed at the Montanita Cabana's, a little oasis in Montanita and they are very clean. If you want to learn Spanish in Ecuador you should definitely go to Montanita Spanish school and stay at the Cabañas!

(Traducción) Mi esposa y yo pasamos una semana en la escuela. La escuela en sí es bastante buena, a la par de algunas de las mejores que hicimos (más de 10 hasta ahora). Los maestros son buenos, el entorno es agradable y el personal es servicial. Lo que diferencia a esta escuela de la otra en la que hemos estado es la pequeña ciudad costera de Montañita. Si bien el pueblo en sí es conocido por el surf, la vida en la playa y la actitud "hippy", la escuela ofrece un equilibrio de al menos unas pocas horas al día de tiempo "productivo". Además, la escuela está afiliada a Cabanias, un albergue / lodge que ofrece un oasis lejos del ajetreo del pequeño pueblo. La escuela ofrece clases de surf en las que no participamos y algunas otras actividades. Si bien la mayoría de los estudiantes tienen más de 20 años, hay algunos mayores para hacer un balance :) (Original) My wife and I spent a week at the school. The school itself is pretty good, on par with some of the better ones we did (more than 10 so far). The teachers are good, the setting is nice and the staff is helpful. What sets this school apart from the other we've been to is the small beach town of Montanita. While the town itself is known for surfing, hanging on the beach and "hippy" attitude, the school offers a balance of at least a few hours a day of "productive" time. Also, the school is affiliated with the Cabanias, a hostel/lodge that offers an oasis away from the hustle of the small village. The school offers surfing classes which we did not participate in and some other activities. While most of the students are in the 20s there are a few older ones to make a balance :)
